How it started
At Frechette Inc, our story traces back to 2020, the year we set out on a joint venture and collaboration journey. But rewind a bit, and you'll discover the roots of our real estate passion. Steve and Kelly, our founders, kicked off their real estate journey at the age of 19 with the purchase of their first duplex. It was this initial step that laid the foundation for Frechette Inc's birth in 2020. Since then, we've been privileged to collaborate on some truly exciting projects in the beautiful Niagara region.

Steve Frechette
With an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering commitment to mastering his craft, Steve has been a driving force in the residential home building industry for over two decades. As the visionary owner and CEO of Board Boss Drywall, Steve transformed a small one-man operation into an award-winning, full-service residential drywall company, solidifying Board Boss as one of the most sought-after contractors in the Region.
Steve's entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for continuous growth led him to diversify his brand and expand his expertise into various realms. Beyond the drywall domain, he is the CEO of Frechette Inc, spearheading real estate investing and development ventures. Steve serves as the President of FW Developments, playing a pivotal role in the realization of numerous successful projects. His accomplishments as a seasoned real estate investor are evident in a portfolio that spans across Niagara, showcasing his adept navigation of the property market.
In a testament to his commitment to the industry, Steve proudly serves as a board member on the Board of Directors for the Niagara Construction Associations. This role underscores his dedication to fostering collaboration and contributing to the growth and development of the construction community in the region.

Kelly Frechette
After graduating from Niagara College's Business Administration: Marketing program, Kelly discovered her true fulfillment lies in flexing her creative muscles. This realization led her to step into the role of PR, marketing guru, and content creator at Board Boss Drywall—the company she co-owns and operates with her husband, Steve. Wearing many hats is second nature to Kelly; she not only oversees the creative aspects but also manages the office, accounting, bookkeeping, and more.
Since embracing this multifaceted role, Kelly has donned various hats, transitioning seamlessly from entrepreneur to real estate investor, landlord, developer, and renovator. Beyond her business ventures, Kelly is a fervent volunteer and housing advocate, eagerly taking on roles with organizations she supports. Notably, she has most recently served as a judge for the 2024 Canadian Home Builder's Association National Awards for Housing Excellence.
Committed to finding innovative housing solutions and fostering financial literacy in the next generation, Kelly also dedicates time to supporting fellow entrepreneurs and investors.
